Overview

Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1138, by Bloodhaze Mosquito Swarm. The establishment of Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî is is constructed arround a semi-circular narrow paverstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî's unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Êkèkê Êqëvî-êmî places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
